The Leontyne Price Library provides library materials to
faculty and students in many formats: books, audiovisual, computer hardware
and software, and on-line databases. Print and non-print materials are
available and easily accessible to all users. Librarians work closely with
faculty members, providing directions on bibliographic information, answering
inquiries and teaching students how to use the library effectively.

To get your money's
worth from library services, ask questions of the Librarians. Answering
questions is the function of the professional librarian, however
any staff member will be happy to help with research if asked.
All freshmen, transfer
students and new faculty are involved in a library orientation process
at the beginning of the academic school year. Faculty
members are encouraged to bring their entire class to the library for
orientation if they feel there is a need. A library orientation video
is available for
students upon request. Individuals or groups of students may also request
private sessions of library orientations.
