Are there secondary school course requirements for admission?
There is no single academic path we expect all students to follow, but the strongest applicants take the most rigorous secondary school curricula available to them. An ideal four-year preparatory program includes four units of English; three units of math; three units of natural sciences; three units of social studies; six units of electives.
Must a student have certain grades or marks to be considered for admission?
The Admissions Committee recognizes that schools vary by size, academic program, and grading policies. We do seek first-time freshman students who have earned at least a 2.25 minimum cumulative grade point average upon graduation.
Which standardized tests does Rust College require?
Rust College highly recommends applicants to submit the results of either the SAT Reasoning Test or the ACT with writing component. The Admissions Committee continues to consider test results in light of students' educational opportunities.

The letters of recommendation should be completed by your principal, assistant principal, guidance counselor, teacher or any responsible adult (no relatives) who knows the applicant well and who has known the applicant for at least one year.

Yes, I highly recommend that the student does communicate with Rust College admission staff member to ensure that his/her admission file is complete.
