Pray Without Ceasing
In 2005, I went on a silent retreat to the Abbey of Gethsemani in Trappist, Kentucky. Gethsemani is a Roman Catholic gathered community of Trappist monks. One thing that impressed me is the seven daily prayers(3;15 am, 5:45 am, 6:15 am, 7:30 am, 12:15 pm. 5:30 pm, and 7:30 pm). When asked why so many prayers. The abbot said Gethsemani is a community praying for the world so that when Jesus comes back to judge the world, the Lord will have mercy on the world.
Dear Lord, You are our God and we are your people. Have mercy on us.

“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am with them.”
“Pray for one another so that you might be healed. The prayer of a godly person is powerful. It makes things happen.”
