Faculty Member Made Honoree, Recognized by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

stovallDuring the 81st Southeastern Regional Conference of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Dr. A.J. Stovall, Chair of the Division of Social Science, was recognized for his efforts in the community.

The Theta Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated elected to honor Dr. Stovall during their sorority's public honoree meeting.
"Due to Dr. Stovall's tireless efforts and accomplishments with human rights and social justice, we could not see any other faculty member better fit to be honored," stated Theta Upsilon President Hope Green.

The meeting was held in the Spring in Memphis, Tenn. at the Cook Convention Center. Also recognized during the meeting was Mississippi State Representative and Rust College alumnus Kelvin O. Buck, '97.
